30 வருடங்களாக ஈழத்தமிழ் மக்களை மோசமாக கொன்றொழிக்கும் இந்தியாவில் காலைப்படிப்பதிலும், தம்மை திரும்பியும் பார்க்காத அமெரிக்க பிரித்தானிய வல்லரசுகளிடம் கெஞ்சி அழுவதிலும் மட்டும் தமது கவனத்தை செலுத்திவரும் தமிழ்மக்களின் பரிதாப நிலை கண்டு மனம் இரங்கி மெக்சிகோவின் ஐ.நா. தூதுவர் பாதுகாப்புசபையில் இலங்கை நிலை பற்றி விவாதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டிருக்கிறார்.
இந்தியாவின் வேண்டுகோளின்படி ரஷ்யா இலங்கை பற்றிய விவாதத்தை தடுத்து வருகிறது. ஆனால் மெசிக்கோ தூதுவர் கிளொவுட் ஹெல்லர் தமது முயற்சியை இன்னமும் கைவிடவில்லை. ஆனால் ஈழத்தமிழ் மக்கள் அக்கறையாக அவருடன் தொடர்புகொண்டு போதிய ஆதாரங்களை வழங்காவிட்டால் அவரும் தனது முயற்சியை கைவிட கூடும்.

I am very grateful for your effort to raise the plight of people killed in Sri Lankan civil war. According to one of the few doctors remaining in this war zone, at least 40 refugees are killed on daily basis. Since some of my relatives are also in this war zone I am worried about them. From news reports I believe that they are refugees and moving from one place to the other; yet, I am not sure whether they are still alive.
Please help us. We have no one else, but you who raised our situation in the UN Security Council. Please do not give up on us. God Bless You.

A violent conflict in Sri Lanka is continuing for last 25 years. Recently this conflict has become an intense civil war, and around 40 refugees have been killed on daily basis. I also have relatives in the war zone, and I am not sure whether they are still alive.
The Indian government initiated this conflict by supplying weapons and training to the youth in Sri Lanka. Even today, it is widely believed that the Indian government is behind the continuation of this conflict.
China is a peaceful country. I hope very much that, as the Permanent Ambassador of China to the United Nations, you would help us to find peace. Please kindly request the UN Security Council to stop the war in Sri Lanka and find peace.
